Carved rock steps.
An otherwise inaccessible mossy landing becomes a place for all ages to access and enjoy safely.
The clients, avid hikers, wanted the trail to be not just for them but for any visitor to their home, including their mothers, family, and guests of all ages and abilities.
To accomplish this we created an accessible trail though the steep and rocky terrain, passing by two gorgeous sit spots.
In addition to the carved rock steps and trail seen in the photo, we built a 30 step log staircase winding down a steep slope.
